CHNDY is an Omani film director and photographer based between Dubai, Riyadh, and Muscat. His work is rooted in documenting the culture, landscapes, and people of the Gulf, blending raw documentary observations with cinematic storytelling. Known for his distinctive visual language and frequent use of analog film, CHNDY creates films that explore the intersection of tradition, contemporary youth culture, and regional identity. He has directed campaigns, fashion films, commercials, and editorial projects for global brands including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Adidas, Palm Angels, and the NBA, while continuing to develop a body of work that reimagines the Middle East through an authentic, poetic, and contemporary lens.
